OUR SCHOOL

Wildflower schools are located in light-filled spaces on walkable streets. They increase the presence of children and families in the community, as a narrower geographic focus supports walking to and from school, and by partnering with local playgrounds, gardens, and other civic spaces that would otherwise be on-site in larger institutions. big. We expand our definition of “stakeholders” beyond the families we directly serve, and work to make our surrounding communities stronger and healthier for children.

Our Lead Guides

Karla Jessica Rodríguez Ore

Leader Guide and Founder

My name is Karla Jessica Rodríguez Ore, I am of Peruvian nationality, but I have lived in Puerto Rico for 17 years. My bachelor's degree is in Hotel Administration, which I practiced for 5 years in my country. When I moved to the United States, I started with some credits in elementary English, but I found my horizon in Social Work. I graduated in 2019 with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and began practicing that same year at the Montessori school in the town of Guayama. That's where I fell in love with the methodology and decided to take a Montessori AMI assistant course from 3 to 6. At the end of the course and with experience in Social Work, I was very curious to know how the Montessori methodology occurs in younger children, it is because This is why in 2022 I graduated as a Montessori Children's Community Guide (0 to 3 years).
